Guardian Portal Live now
The university record — open to the parent, on the university's terms.
A parent or guardian gets their own login at the university's portal, linked to one or more children with the student's consent, and sees a curated, read-only view of each child's academic life. It is running today; try it in the live demo below.
Try it as a parent
Sign in as Rabia Sultan — mother of two.
One child has a course below the attendance threshold and an overdue challan; both have declared results and timetables. The login screen shows these details with a one-click Use button.

What matters, and nothing the student cannot see themselves.
Attendance
Per-course attendance with the debar threshold, and an alert when attendance falls below the line.
Results
Declared results as they are published, with a watermarked result PDF the parent can download.
Fees
Open challans and dues, due-in-three-days and overdue alerts — and pay the challan online where the university allows it.
Timetable & notices
The child's timetable and the notices the university publishes to parents.
Alerts
Fee due and overdue, low attendance, result declared, new notice — in-app, by email and by push, with per-parent preferences.
Privacy by design
Parents see a curated projection of what the student sees, never more. Linking a child needs the student's consent by default; the university can choose university-approval or auto-link instead. Every access to results and fees is logged.
How it works
Four steps, and the university decides the rules.
- 01
Sign up
CNIC or phone plus a password; phone OTP if the university requires it.
- 02
Link a child
An invitation code the student generates in their portal, or an automatic match against the guardian record the university already holds — the student approves.
- 03
See the record
Dashboard per child: attendance, results, fees, timetable, notices, alerts. A parent with two children switches between them.
- 04
Pay, if the university charges
Subscriptions are off by default. When a university switches them on, plans are priced per child or per guardian, per semester, year or one-time, paid by bank challan or online. Fee challans and due alerts stay free regardless.
Mobile apps In beta
Android and iOS — the university in a student's pocket.
The My University app is built and in beta: students get their dashboard, attendance with QR check-in, results, fees, timetable, notices, course add/drop and help desk; parents get the full Guardian Portal as a "My Children" tab. It discovers the university from its portal address and takes on its logo and colours. Store release follows the beta; faculty and admin roles and the Eportal app come next, on the same codebase.

My University
For students and parents today, faculty and management next, at my.<university>. Type the portal address once — or scan the QR on the notice board — and the app re-themes to the university: logo, colours, login imagery, name.
Students
- Today's timetable, attendance per course with the debar threshold as a colour band, outstanding fees and unread notices on one home screen
- QR attendance check-in — scan the teacher's rotating code in class
- Results, running CGPA and transcript PDF shared straight to WhatsApp or Files
- Fee vouchers with the 1Link / bank consumer number, in-app card payment, challan PDF
- Announcements, news and calendar events with push notifications
- One-tap hand-off into Moodle — already signed in
Faculty & management
- Per-lecture attendance marking that tolerates patchy campus Wi-Fi, and a rotating QR for students to scan
- Leave and OD requests, monthly reports, salary slip
- Advisor view: advisees with attendance and CGPA flags
- Approvals inbox for deans and directors — approve, reject or return a file from the phone, with the minute-sheet timeline and a push when something lands in your queue
Android & iOS Planned
Eportal
For applicants and candidates at eportal.<university> — the population that never sits at a desktop.
- Application status, merit-list result push, offer-letter PDF
- Document upload from the camera — CNIC, certificates, photo
- Application-fee vouchers, instalments and card payment
- Careers, testing service admit cards, hostel and short-course applications
Branding
Your university's app, without your own app-store listing.
Branding is live the day a university signs up: splash, logo, colours, notifications and a home-screen shortcut carrying the university's own icon. Institutions that want "IST Mobile" in the stores under their own name choose the white-label tier — same codebase, their icon, their developer accounts.
- Multi-tenant by design — one app serves every UMSonCloud university; a teacher at two institutions keeps both
- Biometric unlock, secure token storage, sessions that survive restarts
- Built with React Native and Expo; bug fixes ship over the air without store review
- White-label tier for a branded store listing
